Harry Potter stars Daniel Radcliffe (Harry) and Emma Watson (Hermione) will go nude in a steamy scene in the upcoming flick Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows. Director David Yates says the nude scene happens after Harry decides to make his best friend Ron Weasly jealous.

“We’ll create something that feels very sexy and very intriguing to bring about a reaction in Rupert. Dan has appeared nude in the past. There are a couple of scenes in the new film in which he will undress, but we’re still thinking about how we present it. There is another scene in King’s Cross station, where Harry almost dies and sees Dumbledore. In that scene, he will also be naked…”

Readers, do you think it's necessary for Harry and Hermoine to get naked in Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows?

Dumbledore’s Flaws and Harry’s Development
The central crisis for Harry was the character of Dumbledore. If Harry had spent all of the previous year becoming “Dumbledore’s man through and through,” did he still want to be? The answer to this is significant, and it needs to guide our analysis of what Rowling was doing with Dumbledore:

The answer was, yes, after learning everything about Dumbledore, at the end of the story, Harry wanted to remain Dumbledore’s man through and through.

That’s significant, because Dumbledore’s critics are going to feel vindicated by Deathly Hallows, and I don’t think that will be the best reading. But we’ll get back there.
Harry wrestles throughout with the question of Dumbledore, and the decisive moment comes at Dobby’s death. This is incredibly significant, because it was Dumbledore, back in Chapter 37 of Order, who insisted that house-elves have been mistreated by Wizards for centuries. The Kreacher and Dobby subplots highlight the fact that Harry finally took this lesson to heart. It is while burying Dobby that Harry decides to go through with Dumbledore’s plan, to see it through to the end, to trust Dumbledore. Two key quotes come to mind that I believed, after the release of Half-Blood Prince, were an interpretive key to the series:
  • “If we can’t trust Dumbledore, who can we trust?” ~ Hermione
  • “It comes down to whether or not you trust Dumbledore's judgment. I do; therefore, I trust Severus.” ~ Lupin

Following Dumbledore's death, Voldemort has completed his ascension to power and gains control of the Ministry of Magic. Harry, Ron, and Hermione drop out of school so that they can find and destroy Voldemort's remaining three Horcruxes. They isolate themselves to ensure the safety of their family and friends. They do not have much knowledge about the remaining Horcruxes except the possibility that two of them are objects that belonged to Hogwarts founders Rowena Ravenclaw and Helga Hufflepuff, and that the third is Nagini, Voldemort's snake familiar. The locations of the two founders' objects are unknown, and Nagini is presumed to be with Voldemort himself. As they search for the Horcruxes, the trio learn details about Dumbledore's past, as well as Snape's true motives.

The trio recovers the first of Voldemort's Horcruxes, Salazar Slytherin's locket, by infiltrating the Ministry of Magic. They recover the Sword of Godric Gryffindor; it is one of a few objects that can be used to destroy Horcruxes, and they use it to destroy the locket. In their travels the trio come across a strange symbol, which an eccentric wizard named Xenophilius Lovegood tells them represents the mythical Deathly Hallows. The Hallows are revealed to be three sacred objects: the Resurrection Stone, a stone with the power to bring others back to life; the Elder Wand, an unbeatable wand; and an infallible Invisibility Cloak. Harry learns that Voldemort is after the Elder Wand, but the trio decides that discovering Voldemort's Horcruxes is more important than procuring the wand for themselves. They break into Bellatrix Lestrange's vault at the Wizarding Bank Gringotts to recover another Horcrux, the cup of Helga Hufflepuff. Harry learns that another Horcrux is hidden in Hogwarts, and Harry, Ron, and Hermione enter the school. They find this Horcrux, the Diadem of Ravenclaw, and successfully destroy both.

The book culminates in the Battle of Hogwarts. Harry, Ron, and Hermione, in conjunction with students and members of the wizarding world opposed to the rise of Voldemort, defend Hogwarts from Voldemort, his Death Eaters, and various magical creatures. Several major characters are killed in the first wave of the battle. Harry discovers that Voldemort inadvertently made Harry a Horcrux when he attacked him as a baby, and that he would have to die to destroy Voldemort. Harry surrenders himself to Voldemort, who attacks Harry with the Killing Curse, sending Harry to a sort of Limbo between life and death. There, Harry meets Dumbledore who explains that because Voldemort used Harry's blood to regain his full strength, Harry is protected from any harm that Voldemort could commit, meaning that the Horcrux inside of Harry is destroyed but that he can return to his body despite being hit by the Killing Curse. Harry then returns to his body, the battle resumes, and after the last remaining Horcrux destroyed, Harry is able to defeat Voldemort.

New reports have revealed that the final two installments of the Harry Potter saga would arrive in 3D. This was expected from Warner Bros, considering the earth shattering collections of James Cameron's Avatar, which made extra bucks due to its high 3D price.

However Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Parts 1 and 2 have been shot in 2D and would be converted to 3D before release. This goes for yet another movie as well, the Greek fantasy 'Clash of the Titans'. Recently the Toy Story movies were converted to 3D and released in theaters, though both the movies played for the price of one ticket. Avatar was shot using 3D cameras, and the Harry Potter films won't look as good as James Cameron's film in 3D due to digital manipulation in post production. The previous film, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince was equipped with an intro in 3D.

Director David Yates stated that the first part is "going to feel very real" in comparison with the six previous Potter features. "We're going for a vérité approach. Being away from Hogwarts, they're like these three refugees on the run. They're out in the big bad world, facing real danger, unguarded by those wonderful benign wizards at Hogwarts. They don't have a home to go to. We're kind of pulling away from the magic a bit and bringing more reality to it."

And there's another interesting bit of news, Yates confirmed that Daniel Radcliffe, who plays Harry Potter will get naked for a scene. Remember the scene in the final book where the Horcrux locket causes Ron to imagine Hermione and Harry embracing and kissing? Harry will reportedly show a bit of skin in the very scene. "It's something intriguing and sensual for Rupert to react to, and Dan will be bare for that." Yates said.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I hits theaters on November 19, 2010 with Part II arriving on July 15, 2011.
